D-Link AC3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router (DIR-890L/R) is a tri-band router with as much as 6 adjustable antennas, elegantly finished in shiny red. It can effectively function as the heart of an extreme gaming setup, as it is a thing apart from competition. Like all tri-band routers, it is enormous in size. Of course, it is comparatively expensive as it is the fastest in its class.

D-Link AC3200 Ultra Wi-Fi Router Design and Features

Shaped almost exactly like a pyramid, coated with a satin red finish, D-Link AC3200 boasts a total of six external antennas. At the top there are 6 LED indicators, displaying the activity of all the USB ports as also the 5GHz and 2.4GHz, the power and the internet-connection status. At the rear are one internet port, 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 USB ports of 2.0 and 3.0 each, and Wi-Fi, and reset buttons. The Home Page

As soon as you log in to the UI or Web user interface, you see with a uncluttered Home page, displaying all connected clients, Internet status, Sunnet Mask, Default Gateway information, and the IP address of the router. The Settings page comes with a Setup Wizard to start the installation procedure, configure the Wi-Fi settings and network, as also create your unique router password.

From the Internet page, various connections types can be chosen, such as

Static,
DHCP,
PPPoE,
PPTP,
DS-Lite,
and L2TP,
Setting the device modes like the access point or router. You can also configure DIR-890L/R's Network page, and settings for DHCP server, IPv4/IPv6 multicast, and also UPnP settings.
